The Peer Team consisiting of Chairperson Dr.Mohd.Muzammil (Former Vice Chancellor,Dr.BR Ambedkar University Agra),Member Co.ordinator,Dr.Mujahid Ahmed (Dean,Department of Demography ,Cluster University Srinagar),Member Dr.S.P.Shahi (Principle AN College,Patna,Bihar),gets a rousing welcome in a traditional way from the Teachers and Students of Narangi Anchalik Mahavidyalaya,Narangi,Guwahati on Monday and Tuesday,the 13th and 14th of June,2022.
They had visited the college for the assessment of the performance of the institution for NAAC accreditation 1st Cycle.The team was offered a traditional welcome by the Principal i/c Reeta Dutta Hazorika,IQAC Co.ordinator Preetymala Baruah,Senior Faculty Member Archana Bora with a Phulam Paat,Gamosa (Assam Slik).The NAAC welcomed the dignitaries with a guard of honour.The first day’s programme began with the Principal’s presentation,followed by Departmental HOD’s presentation.The Peer team alsp interacted with the student’s Alumni,Parents,Teachera,GB member and IQAC membe.They also inspected all the departments,laboratories,college library,playground and indoor stadium,IT room etc.They also verified the activities of NCC and NSS.The peer team interacted with the office & non-teaching Staff. A cultural programme by the students showcasing the rich culture and heritage of Assam and depicting the marvelous patriotic fervor of our country comprising dance,song,play and drama was the highlight of the NAAC peer team visit.
After two days of various activities,the peer team,finally met the Teachers in the Exit meeting where the Chairperson of the peer team highly praised the college saying that inspite of limited resources and continuous challenges the college has been able to put it’s best foot forward. They also offered some points for rectification for better and facilitation of the college resources.After Seven Days,the college was intimated that it had been accredited with Grade “B”.
