NCC


The college has introduced its own unit of National Cadet Corps (NCC). Students of the college can be members of the N.C.C. unit. The College NCC wing imparts training to students interested in Army, Navy and Air Force. It inculcates the spirit of discipline, patriotism and community service.


NSS


The National Service Scheme (NSS) develops a sense of social responsibility in students through a variety of

social welfare and development activities. Thestudent desirous of participating in these activities can join the Narangi Anchalik Mahavidyalaya NSS wing. The time of enrolment as NSS volunteers is during the first month of academic session. The college celebrates NSS day on 24th September in every year.

MOUNTAINEERING


The college has introduced a Mountaineering Unit to a foster a spirit of adventure among the youths of the college. The unit has relation with the leading adventure sports organization of the Northeast which organizes mountaineering expeditions. Local rock climbing is arranged and high altitude trekking and expeditions are conducted from time to time by the unit. Membership is open to the students of the college only.

WOMEN STUDY AND DEVELOPMENT CELL


Right from its inception, the cell has been conducting awareness programmes on health practice for girl child and women empowerment .

FORUMS


Narangi Anchalik Mahavidyalaya also provides various forums for the development of talents and skills of the students. A few like, Narangi Anchalik Mahavidyalaya Geographical Forum, Narangi Anchalik Mahavidyalaya English Forum, Society for Historical Studies and Tours, Narangi Anchalik Mahavidyalaya Asomiya Literary Forum, Shiksa Bikash Aru Samaj Kalyan Samiti, and Navarang, the Commerce Forum.

THE COLLEGE MAGAZINE


“The Narangian” is published annually. It gives an opportunity for creativity and self– expression of the students in different fields. An editorial board consisting of members of the teaching staff and students is constituted annually.

REPORT: ELECTORAL LITERACY CLUB AWARENESS CAMPAIGN


Introduction:
Narangi Anchalik Mahavidhyalaya Electoral Literacy Club, established on 4th December 2023, undertook a significant initiative to promote awareness of voting rights within the community. This report encapsulates the successful execution of an Awareness Campaign on Voting Rights, conducted on 12th March 2024, aimed at emphasizing the importance of electoral participation.

Event Overview:
The Electoral Literacy Club organized an impactful Awareness Campaign on Voting Rights, with the objective of educating voters and encouraging them to exercise their franchise responsibly. The campaign targeted the local college area surrounding Narangi Anchalik Mahavidhyalaya, engaging both existing voters and newcomers in understanding the significance of their voting rights.

Program Highlights:

Conclusion:
In conclusion, the Electoral Literacy Club's Awareness Campaign on Voting Rights emerged as a commendable effort in fostering electoral literacy and civic engagement among the youth and broader community.
